McCormick Introduces Next Generation MTX Series - 01 December 2003
McCormick International USA introduces the next generation McCormick MTX B-Series tractor range (100 hp to 160 PTO hp) featuring the new BetaPower six-cylinder, 6.7-liter turbo-diesel engine developed to McCormick’s exact specifications and based on Cummins technology. McCormick also significantly upgrades the transmission in the MTX product range with the introduction of our new AutoSpeed transmission option. While AutoSpeed is still a semi-power shift transmission, range change modulation will be ground-speed sensitive for faster range changes under rolling loads. The MTX B-Series will also feature the company’s first cab suspension, automatic climate control, new cab instruments and a one-piece lift-up bonnet for easier service access to the engine and cooling system.

McCormick Moves into 200-hp Plus Power Range - 10 November 2003
McCormick International USA introduces the ZTX Series of tractors ranging from 230 hp to 280 hp. The ZTX series uses the Cummins QSC 24-valve, 8.3L engine, one of the most powerful engines on the market meeting Tier II / Stage 2 emission requirements. The Cummins engine is matched with an 18-forward, 8-reverse full-power shift transmission with a steering column mounted power shuttle with park feature. The ZTX offers five hydraulic remotes and produces 40 gpm of hydraulic flow.

New Tractor Adds Options for Row-Crop Farmers - 06 October 2003
McCormick introduces the MTX200, a 195-hp workhorse powered by the new generation, six-cylinder, 24-valve electronic Cummins QBS engine. The MTX200 is the first tractor in the ag industry to use this innovative engine, which features an electronic fuel management system to increase power and torque while improving fuel economy. An optional, independent front-axle suspension provides a smoother ride and improved tire-to-ground traction. A standard Headland Management System provides automatic sequencing of headland operations to reduce operator fatigue.

The Ultimate Compact Tractor - 06 October 2003
McCormick introduces the GX and GXH compact tractor series. The GX and GXH are powered with a 38-hp, 44-hp or 50-hp Yanmar three- or four-cylinder diesel engines. GX models feature a robust 12-forward, 12-reverse gearbox with synchromesh shuttle. The GXH offers hydrostatic drive with three working ranges. Both models offer 2WD or MFWD and front, middle and rear power takeoff for multiple implement options. Customers can select open platform with ROPS or cab with air conditioning.

CX Series Receives New Power Shift Transmission - 06 October 2003
McCormick USA introduces the CX 05 series of tractors (73 hp to 102 hp engine) featuring the new XtraShift transmission, developed by McCormick International. The XtraShift transmission provides the operator with eight gears and three speeds within each gear for a total of 24 forward and reverse speeds. The CX 05 series is powered by a high torque and lean burning Perkins engine, which provides reliable and economical performance.
